This past January, I went to the Winter Market at Terra Greenhouses in Hamilton and came across a booth with RichEarth Herbed Poppyseed Vegan salad dressing. I decided to buy a bottle to give it a try, although I'm not Vegan. Turns out to be the best salad dressing ever. So light and flavourful, I then wasn't interested in any other dressing. Sadly, with Covid developments, the Winter Markets were cancelled (along with most other things!), so I wasn't able to go back for more. I checked online and was able to contact owner Eartha. She offered to deliver several bottles when she was coming to town. When she and her partner Richard (thus the name RichEarth!) came by, they also brought a sample of their delicious chocolate cake and a lovely fresh salad. Can't say enough about the quality and flavour of the food they prepare. I'm hoping to find their products available in the Hamilton area very soon!

The chocolate zucchini vegan cake is literally out of this world and a must try! My go to salad dressing is the poppyseed dressing and has been a hit wherever I have served it to my family. I could go on and on about the amazing products from RicherEarth Vegan Eats as they truly are made with love!

We were fortunate to meet Richard & Eartha at the Women’s show in November 2019. This was my first time experiencing their brand (Richard & Eartha’s smiles), their beautiful presentation, and their wonderfully put together meal options. Our love affair began with the Jamaican Pumpkin Soup and then the Plantain Panini. The ladies of New Haven Funeral Centre enjoyed RicherEarth for the three days we attended the show. This was the only food we ate. So thrilled with this company we used their services a few weeks later for a company event - which was a complete success! We taste the time, quality, and love they put into their meals with every bite.

We have recently purchased several containers of Rich Earth Vegan (Herbed Poppyseed) vinaigrette dressing. It is absolutely fabulous. We put in on salads, shakes and use it to cook with. It has propelled us into a healthier diet lifestyle!!

RicherEarth made our event so much easier than we could have expected. They provided high quality food and service for our luncheon event! The amount of food provided was so much more than we expected. The set up team took extra time to ensure everything for our event was properly organized. We had the smoothie bar, salads, delicious pumpkin soup and their spectacular zucchini cake is absolutely out of this world! Our guests fell in love with the flavours in their mouths and everyone was obsessed with their famous poppy seed dressing. We will definitely be using them for future events!

The Vegan Pantry: What Does An Everyday Vegan Eat?
Probiotics, Prebiotics, Nutritional Powders, Legumes, Roots, Seeds, Nuts, Grains, Sea Vegetables... Whether you are already vegan or simply vegan curious, interests in exploring the incredible range of plant-based foods has never been more popular. This article takes a look at the vegan pantry – answering the question, “what does an everyday vegan eat?”
Pulses are the dried edible seeds of certain plants in the legume family, and they play an important role in the transformation of food systems to provide consumers with healthy and environmentally sustainable dietary choices. The four main types of pulses grown in Canada are dry peas, lentils, beans and chickpeas.
One of our goals as a company is to continue to learn more about locally grown organic vegetables and fruit. We also like knowing the best places to source them. When you buy local, and in season, you get to experience foods at their peak in flavour and nutrition.
